INDIGROW ANNOUNCES H&R BLOCK ACQUISITION BY PARENT COMPANY, PLANNED EXPANSION INTO PAYROLL & BOOKKEEPING SERVICES

HAPPY VALLEY-GOOSE BAY, NL – Indigrow Business Management Inc. (Indigrow) is today announcing the acquisition of the Happy Valley-Goose Bay H&R Block franchise.

The H&R Block franchise has been owned and operated by Brenda Way since 2007, and has a proven track record of providing trusted, expert tax preparation services to its clients. Ms. Way will continue on as a tax preparer, while Amanda Normore, recently hired by Indigrow as Manager, Financial Services, will manage the H&R Block office.

Beginning in June 2023, the H&R Block franchise will offer business payroll and bookkeeping services to small businesses to meet a growing demand for these services in the region.

In a related move, Indigrow has signed a long-term lease for the office directly adjacent to the existing H&R Block location at 358 Hamilton River Road in Happy Valley-Goose Bay, and will open it’s doors in late 2022 or early 2023.

The acquisition has been months in the making and is official as of November 17, 2022.
